Cooper begins<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>I missed this when it originally made the rounds: Lindsey Green suggests that Mad Men&#8217;s conclusion may\u00a0mimic the real-life story of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/D._B._Cooper\">D.B. Cooper<\/a>, a\u00a0Draper-esque gentleman\u00a0who\u00a0hijacked a plane in 1971 for $200k ransom, and then parachuted out never to be seen again\u00a0(or even be definitively identified, for that matter).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a fun read, and would make a fitting ending for Don as a character\u2014except, I don&#8217;t think he&#8217;s motivated\u00a0enough by money to do it\u00a0for ransom, and there are less conspicuous\u00a0ways to disappear (which he&#8217;s been able to do\u00a0once already, by the way).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where Don Draper ends, D.B.
